This Reflections piece has been created on canvas, street art walls, silk screen prints, NFTs and now these foil editions. Inspired by all of the previous variations of this piece, I have created 13 different pieces in the lenses like the NFT collection, in 4 different shiny foil colours that play on popular colours from previous works with red, pink, gold and rainbow.
As many of you reading this probably know already, Leonard da Vinci is my hero. He was the first superhero to me. A genius and a polymath across multiple fields of art, science and engineering. He has been revered for over 500 years as the ultimate renaissance man, the most creative human to ever walk this earth. The Mona Lisa is the culmination of his lifes work, distilling all of his talent, technique, mastery of paint, perspective, light, movement, colour and mystique into a single 30 x 21 inch masterpiece. The most famous artist and portrait in human history, captured in a brief moment as the girl wearing the glasses, like many others, looks on in awe at the Mona Lisa, hanging in the Louvre in Paris.
